Pack repositories

Pack repositories store all pack lists and application packs the user can specify multiple pack repositories allowing them to install applications from multiple sources, this resembles yum.

Default repos

  1. http://appdb/getxml.php? - Web service
  2. /usr/share/wine-doors/global.repo - System repository
  3. /usr/share/wine-doors/base.repo - base libraries for FirstRun

Repo specification

  1. Repos point to a folder or script
  2. In each repo there is a file called packlist.xml.gz, this can of course be generated by a script in the case of web repositories
  3. All repo packlists are downloaded to the folder ~/.wine/wine-doors/packlists/reponame.xml
