  • owner set to astormont.
  • status changed from new to assigned.

I have witnessed this on kubuntu gutsy.

pressing control-c a couple of times fixed it for me. I'm guessing its a wayward thread, I will investigate.

  • severity changed from catastrophic to crasher.

The second time I reproduced this, after 15mins it sorted itself out.

Confusing.

Definitely not catastrophic though.

  • milestone set to 0.1.2 - Point release.

is this a wine bug with wineprefixcreate?

Can we just skip a bunch of the winedrive functions?

I want this bug closed before 0.1.2

  • milestone changed from 0.1.2 - Point release to 0.2 - the refactoring.

This appears to be a problem with this threading implementation, I'm going to move this over to 0.2 as we can't really fix this in the short term (we really need a way to signal the wine class rather than calling it) http://www.wine-doors.org/trac/browser/wine-doors/trunk/src/wine.py#L124
